I've been here several times and the vibes are great. It is sometimes hard to find seating because it's so popular, but the beer is good and the service is quick. The pizza is also amazing!

Rising Silo is a brewery with a view and a menu that stands out. Beyond the great location, we really appreciate the variety and fresh ingredients. We've enjoyed interesting items like beet kombucha, dill soda, buffalo chickpea sandwich, and the best french fries you can eat in Blacksburg! Their selection of non-alcoholic beers is a big plus. However, vegetarian and vegan options can be a bit limited, so it's a good idea to check the menu ahead of time.

My wife decided we should go here one evening. I had never been before nor heard of it. Honestly was quite shocked with it. They've got a good location and a good place to do all that they do.
I can't remember what drinks I got but they were very good. The wife liked the ginger beer an awful lot lol.
We ordered a pizza, which was really good. I couldn't exactly tell you which one but I don't think you'd be wrong on anything you order.
The staff were super nice and answered any questions and provided a great atmosphere for everyone.
They do live music here and also have a little shop you can buy from.
Definitely a good place to go anytime. Parking can be a bit of a headache but it's worth it.

Good people, good food, good beer, good vibes! Rising Silo is such a special place. It's a brewery located on a farm on the edge of Blacksburg--both the beer and food are always fresh and seasonal, you can count on something new, but also dependable standbys. They have a great grassy lawn for lounging and taking in the fresh air and beautiful mountain views. Kids love running around and it's super dog-friendly. Also very much appreciate the variety of non-alcoholic options like their house made sodas, ginger beer, cider, and flavored and unflavored sparkling water. They also started carrying a selection of near beers! And live music!! One of the few places in town with a consistent weekly lineup of live music. We love Rising Silo

Fun, funky, happy place. We arrived just before a thunderstorm and happily enjoyed sampling a flight while watching the storm roll in. The big open windows made us feel like we were outside, but still stayed dry. Great view of the beautiful summer flowers and naturalized landscaping. A big, wood-fired pizza oven was rolling out lovely pies. We sampled the pretzel and fries. Loved the Silo Sauce! Favorite beers were the carrot ginger and the elder fairy. Live music was great!

Great beer, farm fresh food, wonderful atmosphere (the brew fries are to die for!). There's lots of seating options outside and a covered patio taproom. There was live bluegrass music when I was there, but also plenty of places to tuck away where it's a little quieter to enjoy the fresh outdoors. Met lots of friendly dogs and lots of friendly people.

Great for so many occasions. 🎉🎉 amazing food, great atmosphere, live music, and beer. Try out their seltzers as well! Dog friendly, family friendly, go solo or bring your friends, and enjoy the views.
