My most recent trip to this Safeway was very disappointing. Usually, staff here is helpful and kind. But today, cashier Brett was very rude to me and my partner. I asked a simple question and he gave such a rude response and was very dismissive. The store was not busy, so not sure why he was rushing us either. I won’t be returning, but I hope there is an attitude change for others who choose to visit.

Barley any cashiers usually never have anything I want the only Reason I come here is for the pharmacy I would go to the one in Carmel by the sea bigger well stocked very nice people.

Store only ever has 1 cashier at any time, despite how busy it is. I’ve seen lines on a Tuesday at 2:00pm go halfway through the store because they refuse to hire more than one person to be a cashier at any given time.

Such a rude lady at cashier counter. She didn’t respond to my hello. That’s fine. Then while billing, she carelessly tossed my egg tray over. I checked and saw she broke one egg. I pointed it and then she couldn’t see it. Of course I checked the eggs before picking them. I pointed hard and then she saw the cracked egg and asked her helper to get a fresh one. Helper was dropping most of the stuff while packing. So glad o don’t happen to live in this neighborhood. Pity to those who have to tolerate this. Not sure whether she is rude to everyone or just being racist with me. Tons of 2 star reviews speak volumes about the place. However, another south Asian cashier was really sweet and helped me with the restroom directions.

Too small it's a mini Safeway they don't provide a descent selection for meat or Bakery.
I find their meat department to be a total joke overpriced and under selection.

I love Safeway, period! It’s just another Safeway. I stopped by this location for some quick shopping, and everything seems perfect. The store is absolutely clean and well stocked. I love it and absolutely recommend.
