The ladies here are very professional and personable. They made absolutely sure that I exactly got exactly what I wanted. They did so well on the first headstone that I bought another one (that was well over due) off of them a few weeks later. They do beautiful work and and are very affordable. When loved ones go we want something amazing to remember them by. Stone Plans gave me exactly that!

I don’t know what going on. I went in on May 9th to get something ordered. Got half paid down, was sent layout plans to be approved on May 28, was told 6-8 weeks. Contacted them July 29 was told it was finished waiting to be shipped, could be in any day, went in and paid the other half. So I waited for a call, a month has gone by, nothing. I called today September 3rd. Was told that the person who was originally handling my order no longer works there and that it looks like my order is ready to be sand blasted, what do you mean? I was told 4 weeks ago it was done and waiting to be shipped now it’s not done? What was supposed to take 6-8 weeks has now been 14 weeks and have no status of the stone. I’m beginning to think I’m not going to receive the stone and need to get my money back from them.

Headstone turned out nice. Customer service was subpar. Every time we contacted them they told us there was an issue with something, which is understandable, but they never contacted us like they said they would. And when it was finally set, they were to contact us after Earlham let them know. Never contacted us.

Entering Stone Plans beautiful showroom instantly put my mind at ease, the employees are professional and knowledgeable and helped us to pick a beautiful Memorial Head Stone that was a true depiction of my grandparents. Something my heavy heart couldn’t do alone. I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional beauty of my families Stone or more impressed with the courtesy and constant contact of the Stone Plans employees. From beginning to end this was an experience that helped to make this time easier for myself and family.

It took a while to get the monument completed but we knew it would because the black stone material had to be shipped to them.
The bad part of getting the stone made was that the laser wasn’t operating properly when the stone was engraved.
We inspected the stone and was satisfied but not completely thrilled with it.
Shay called us a few days later and explained they were not happy with the stone because the quality wasn’t up their usual standards and asked if we would be willing to wait for them to make a new one.
Since this stone was for my wife and myself, the extra time really was not an issue.
We are certainly very happy we took Shay’s advice.
We think the quality is top notch and was well worth the wait.
For value and workmanship, I would most certainly recommend Stone Plans in Richmond.

I was extremely satisfied with the service, planning and final product. I had to purchase this headstone out of pocket for my parents, I was very pleased with the pricing. They contacted me every step, to ensure I was fine with the progress. There were no hidden fees and the price quoted was my final price. Under the circumstances I was buying the headstone, they were just amazing people and and a great business.

My 3 siblings & myself ordered a headstone from Stone Plans for my parents on April 9, 2024. It was paid for in full within a couple days of placing our order. We were told it would be ready by Labor day 2024. I called four separate times beginning with the weekend before Labor Day to check on the status of the stone, and was given a different reason each time as to why the stone hadn't been placed yet. On the fourth call I was told that the stone wouldn't be ready until March 2025. No reason was given to me as to why it wasn't ready. I did find out that the owner lives in India and only comes to the states a couple times a year. I wish I had been told this when we ordered the stone. Well, March 2025 has come & gone and we still don't have a headstone. I've called a couple of times, but can't get any definitive answer as to why our stone isn't up, or even an estimate as to when, or if, it ever will be. Stone Plans never calls with information, updates, or the current status of my parents headstone. Any contact has been initiated by me. I was told that our stone, as well as the stones of four other families are top priority (Fat lot of good that does us). $7000. is a sizable amount of money for my family, especially to get nothing in return but heartbreak, frustration, and the runaround. If I had the option of giving zero stars, I would.
