Came to get a plaque here. The results were okay.

There were some easily noticeable sloppiness with the work. The corners (bottom right not pictured) had noticeable discoloration and some scuff marks.

The bottom two CSIBs, 1SFC and 3ESC, do not line up horizontally either.

It would have been 3 stars if it weren't for the exuberant fee (basically the same cost of the plaque itself) to expedite the plaque.

Overall - its an okay place to get your plaque created. The customer service was one of the highlights of the shop. I wouldn't come back again.

Very lovely people to deal with!! Needed a nameplate for our son and daughter in laws, bride and groom cross, that both Dad's made for the wedding ceremony. From the moment I called to inquire about it to when we went to pick it up and they volunteered to apply it for us, the were extremely nice and thoughtful. I highly recommend them!!!

This place was overpriced and then they don’t listen. If a person has a ceremony on the 12th why would you say the item would be ready by 4PM on the 12th. They have terrible customer service and act as if you did not tell them what you needed. Then tell me I had to pay a rush fee for something that should have already been ready BEFORE the event. I will NEVER spend money at this establishment again. You can find better places. The person at the front doesn’t know the answer to anything and the older gentleman acts like he is doing you a favor. NEVER again! Stay away from this place if you care about customer service, quality and timeliness. Take a look at the original date I dropped off! And you say I have to pay a rush fee for something you had for three weeks!

The plaque I ordered looks great. The quality of the piece shows that the shop cares about producing well-made work. There was a bit of a bobble in the communication of when the piece would be ready. I was told 5-7 business days, and I called on the 7th day to find out when I could pick up the plaque. They then said it would be an additional 3 days. I explained that the new timeline would not work. They finished in 2 additional days instead. The people working inside were polite and nice. I spoke with the owner after I picked up my plaque, and we covered both the high quality of the work and the mistakes in communication. The issue was resolved, but there was additional stress for me that should not have happened.

I went to The Award Shop for something I had to get for work. I was very happy with the customer service I received. I didn't know what I wanted and a very nice gentleman named Darryl helped me out. He gave me some great ideas and I was able to get something that stayed within our budget. I would go back here if I needed something personal done to. The customer service is great and their stuff is really nice.

Overall, great service and attitude. I came in with a really hard time constraint for their shop to meet, and they were able to produce my product request in 2 days. Phenomenal approach, advice, and service. They also improved my plaque design, making it look a lot better than what I had originally submitted to them. That being said, I don't recommend trying to put an insane time constraint on them. Although they are flexible and might be able to meet your insane demands, it's just a rude request for a customer to make. It was a little pricey in my opinion, but they made up for the price through their ability to produce a product with timeliness and politeness. I would recommend them to a friend.

I had a frame shadow box done at this shop. It was pretty elaborate and they were able to complete the job and made it look great. I am so happy with the company and the level of customer service is amazing. The young lady that helped me at the front desk was wonderful and Darryl was so accommodating with the items I needed in the box. I highly recommend The Award Shop to anyone needing specialty work done.
