I used to deliver the chronicle out in Onalaska and in Centralia on Borst Ave.. They laid me off as well as nine other routes right before the holidays, right before Thanksgiving and started delivering the paper through the mail. Things were really tight over these last holidays. They did the same thing last year right when I started, they laid a few people off right before the holidays I guess they do that every year! Just kind of cruel if you ask me. Many of my customers on all three of my routes called the chronicle and got very upset that I was not there carrier anymore.
