Fantastic fitting in Downtown studio with John Wheeler. Great analysis done on my existing set up, specifically in measurements of lie angle and shaft length. John was able to translate those figures and swing numbers to put me in a better set up, gaining substantial distance with tighter dispersion. These guys are the best. Really impressive knowledge of the inventory, quick and device changes- if something didn’t feel right, he shut it down and moved right on to the next one. Very efficient use of time. Everyone should get in to see these guys.

Another successful fitting with True Spec, John was fantastic. Went in for a putter fitting. John analyzed everything very quickly and had me fitted for a brand new Scotty Cameron phantom putter within 25 minutes. Always a pleasure dealing with the team. Even our dog had a great time

John was great! The experience was seamless and I left very excited about my fitted clubs. He did not push any specific models or brands on me, but I trusted him to guide me to the right club for my swing and skillset given that I did not have any particular brand affinity coming into the fitting. He explained every step of the fitting process and why certain club heads and shafts made more sense for me. He was helpful with fitting options within my budget and overall will be back when I am ready for a driver fitting

This was a great experience. I was a little nervous going into the fitting because I'm such a beginner. John really made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions and broke down everything until I understood. I appreciated that he didn't pressure me to buy on the spot and also made purchase recommendations according to my skill level. This was exactly what I was hoping for out of a fitting experience. I've already recommended it to others.

Also a side note that you should leave a few extra minutes for arrival because it is a little confusing to find this location (there is lots of signage but it's in the basement and only one elevator goes there). Definitely not a reason to not go here- just a timing recommendation!

John was a pleasure to work with. No “leading the witness”. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of hitting a variety of manufacturers, discussing the feel of each, likes/dislikes, goals for my game, and ultimately reviewing the data in effort to find a new set of irons and wedges. John’s knowledge and laid back approach made for a great experience. I ended up gravitating towards manufacturers previously not considered. Look, feel, and importantly performance data supported these conclusions.

This is my second fitting at this location and 3rd fitting overall with True Spec. I must say that it is such a warm inviting space and I feel so comfortable to be my best golf self. John was beyond knowledgeable and made it easy to get to the right irons for my game and my swing. I personally will always come to True Spec as I have for the past 6 years.

My brother and I worked with Sean Erhardt to do a gap fitting/club analysis and it was our first time doing any kind of fitting service. It was well worth it. He was extremely knowledgeable, made the numbers and data easily understandable, and was an all-around kind and approachable guy. The difference maker for me was that he was very interested in what was important to me, first and foremost, and understood my game and never strayed from my priorities. He’s also a very good listener, didn’t push any specific brands/OEMs, and simply catered to what we needed in a judgment-free way. He asked good questions and guided us through the whole process. I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re on the fence about getting fitted, just do it.
