If you have a complaint about a government agency. Do not contact this office they will not help, even though they are meant to regulate the behaviour of public servants. This agency has NO integrity or values. I have raised serious breaches of the public service act regarding a FOI request about another agency, were my phone calls were simply ignored and the public servants involved lied. One of the staff from this office (Public Service Commissioner) stated the following, "They may get away with it in this life, but when they die they will answer before their maker" stated in a loud condescending voice. When I asked for a copy of this conversation for public scrutiny my request was simply ignored. When I raised my concerns both of this response and my original complaint I was fobbed off and referred to another department. The email had no name or contact number (An unaccountable beaucratic response). This is simply a disgrace there is no public accountability or transparency in the state of Victoria when it comes to Government actions or accountability. It fast becoming known as failed state around Australian. The system of Government has simply broken down at the detriment of the people it is meant to serve. Thousands more will flee this basket case of a State.

"AS BAD AS IT GETS "Google won't allow Zero stars, which is all the Victorian Public sector commission is worth.
Not a credible investigative body. One of many State Government agencies that presents well but has Zero autonomy - I suspect that the Victorian Public sector commission's true role is to protect other agencies like Director of Housing and the Victorian Ombudsman by "investigating" them in a positive light. Do not expect impartiality, logic, accountability, or transparency from the Victorian Public sector commission, another disappointing waste of tax-payer dollars.
However ... if you have a "thing" for wasting your own time ... then this is for you! If you value your sanity, avoid contact with this refuge of mediocrity.

Completely and absolutely useless. jeff Kennett was right to try and close down this cesspool. Please don't bother calling them for anything - maybe if we all just ignore the place, it will just shrivel away and someone useful could replace it.
