Much more low key than the pool by Baker Park. Mostly families and smaller kids. It's smaller, so it fills to capacity quickly and the parking situation is less than ideal, but still great.

The accessibly of the pool is great. The pool is a bit small, but it gets the job done. Nice location and friendly staff. They sell snacks starting at $1. It is downtown, so parking can be a hit or miss.

The only good part of this pool is the slide for kids. But it’s awful, during adult swim kids are not allowed to put their toes in or sit on the side. You can’t swim in the square with your child if they go down the slide, you can’t go down the stairs that are on the sides of the pool. There are so many rules you can’t do. Don’t waste your money here. If you’re an adult it’s fine but staff are rude. For kids the other pool by baker park is more suitable.

Nice pool and very nice staff members. The two things that I didn't really like were, that all kids have to take 15 min break, out of the pool, every period. And the other things my 2 years old got a little cut in his toe. It wasn't a big deal but you may want to bring water shoes for your toddler. But other than that. It is a good pool and fun activity for kids younger than 12.
By the way thank you to the lifeguard that helped my with my kid. I didn't get her name. And the cashier that he is very nice.

Nice smaller pool with shade trees and slide great for younger kids toddler section and a swim lane fountain splash area and bucket water dump. Always had friendly staff. It is an old facility so bathroom shower area a bit old. Also the water tends to be very cold but the kids don't seem to mind. Parking is very limited and surrounding park is sketchy at times but is better than in years past it is near downtown so there is a homeless element that hangs about but the pool doesn't reflect that mostly young families. There is a small picnic area in the pool enclosure so that could be nice to have lunch or snacks. There is a 15 minute adult only period every hour which is a nuisance to the kids there are usually no adults in at this time but I only go in the least crowded times many times we are the only ones there.we live close and get a summer family pass so when Cousins visit we can all go. Never have experience fighting or problems that I have seem at the Baker Park pool so for young families this is a great choice in my opinion.

Nice city of Frederick pool. Very limited capacity here, so you may have to wait until someone leaves before you can enter. There's a few parking spaces at the pool but you'll have better luck finding a place across the creek at the courthouse parking lot/garage.

Perfect pool for hanging out on a lazy summer day with kids. 4 feet at the highest point, slide, friendly people, super affordable ice cream snacks. Next to an interesting playground, and along a lovely walking park. Delightful.

This review is from about 3 weeks ago... bad customer service, rude attitudes, and a game of 'who knows what the rules really are'... small things can go a long way.

Ive never been to that pool and never will return! A friend and I + our kids (4) paid to get in. I told the older front desk lady I was of the other cheaper rate that it showed on the sign and can show her but the she got huffy, just scoffed, whipped out a paper and pointed and said 'just pay this....... now'. RUDE. I wasnt going to fight about $1...

Get in there and were in the pool for a whole 25 friggin minutes when thunder happened. Some incident happened earlier when they heard thunder ONE time and tried to shut it down. My friend spoke to the owner and it worked out fine (we felt the young life gaurds just wanted to go home).

Well thunder hit again so we got out and decided to wait since hadn't been that long. They were telling us had to go home (we didnt and had a right to wait). We were told TWO times by two people we could get other day vouchers if had to leave...

Oddly lots of phone calls and I over heard talking policy when someone came and looked around creepily over his shoulder and removed a large metal sign quickly like didnt want us to see it And the lifeguards acted all weird suddenly... it started sprinkling so we were leaving.

Went to older front desk lady and asked for the other day vouchers and she said no... same day only. Told her what we were told and she said no again. I told her we were in the pool for only 25 minutes and it was our first time there. Asked for a one time curtesy + said we were already promised. This time she got snooty (im a calm placid person... and mellow... lol. Very calm) and she grabbed out this friggin binder or book, put it down, smacked her finger on it angrily and said ' no, we dont have to so we wont! Here ill read.... etc etc etc'. I just stood there and thought wow...... since we were there 25 min only we have valid reasons to ask for vouchers and had already been told YES but instead just get attitudes and rudeness......

Just lousy..........
