Woolworths Fitzroy

I agree with the shopper Kelly Hector them staff at the Woolworths at Fitzroy they rarely open on time. I go there every week and there is a number of people standing outside including staff wanting to get in so they should stay open a little longer to make up the time. There used to be a young guy with black longish hair there and he always opened the front door on time. He was good there should be more like him.

When you have a member of a organisation who stands around all day making decisions like 10.55 you can't come in ? . That is poor customer service poor culture poor leadership and behaviour of someone who doesn't have pride in his company or his work . That little moment made him hard I'm sure.. 11 PM Is close time. The Safeway Location in Fitzroy has incorrect operation hrs . It stipulated a week ago it trades until 11 pm. If a customer decided to come at 10.55 how is it that a security person makes such a huge management choice. The real reason he has taken it upon himself is lazyness and the rush for a moment he can be like a really big knob. If he was going anywhere with this company he wouldn't be turning away customers because it's possible he might be a "work " a min longer . Instead not greatfull that his paid to stand around all day pretending to be busy . And he has made a decision purely that in his past a person coming in at 10.55 has resulted in him doing 3 mim extra for the company's customers and his company stakeholders and investors. Got to develop culture and create a point of difference you can't have that representing the face of your business. Bad attitude and work ethics . You walk a few kilometres in the trust that the business is not taken over by Muppets and all for nothing .

Plenty of free parking for 1 1/2hours, lift for easy acces to parking, pity a long walk from lift to enter into aisles entrance all the way on the other side of shop. Well stocked, most exit machines closed, just the self serv and maybe 1 checkout person at 1machine.

After a great evening out on the town, the misso and I stopped by this lovely store to grab a few bits and bobs just before it closed. We were both overwhelmed at the lovely service and hospitality emanating from the staff member Will. Thank you Will for all your services, and I hope you have a great night and that the money we spent goes directly into your pocket. Cheerz, F and E.

Great store, always well stocked and unlike the Coles near by has sliced sourdough on the shelf. Katya in the meat area was amazing at helping me find the product I needed. Spared no time sifting through the palette to find exactly what I needed! Customer service isn’t dead.

It’s bigger than it looks. Large selection of products and it appears to have been recently renovated for a modern look. Not the usual layout for Woolworths so I found it rough looking for the items I normally buy.

As far as woolworths go this supermarket in smith st is pretty good, almost always has everything I need although I do sometimes hit the odd aldi for specials. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Even though there may be the odd begger out front, security stop them from harassing patrons so don't be afraid to shop here. It's in a friendly area and on a friendly street.

Large store with a huge variety of products. I've noticed they often have specials. They often have at least a couple of checkouts going which suits USD that don't like using the self service. There is liquor shop in store also. And a large carpark on the roof too.
