Woolworths Qv

Great supermarket in the city, clean and huge with wide aisles that are well stocked. Lots of convenient food options as well as staples. We did not try the sushi which looked nice, but there are so many better choices elsewhere in the area (even right outside this woolies) that is priced better and that is made fresh. I guess it is good if you are doing a one stop shop or if you want sushi later in the evening when other shops are closed. The bread and pastries are all fresh and nice. The check out area is huge. We counted 48 checkout counters in total! Most are self serve (as usual). When you enter from street level, there is a door next to the entrance that shows “Woolworths and big w”. If you enter and take the escalators downstairs, it saves you a lot of trouble of having to walk through the QV centre to find a different escalators that take you to the supermarket. There is also a big W next door which is handy for the cbd.

This employee pushed a large and heavy shopping cart into me, causing me to fall and step on my foot, making me cry out in pain while I was shopping. I got injured on my toe from being stepped on, and the items in my shopping cart fell and scattered everywhere. He just asked if I was okay. I replied that I wasn’t because I was in a lot of pain. Then he just walked away with the cart without helping me pick up my things or even apologizing. After that, a security guard came over because he noticed I didn’t look well. He asked what happened, and suddenly, that employee quickly walked back over and pretended to help me pick up my items, even though he should have done that in the first place but chose to ignore me. I ended up picking up everything by myself. “In the picture, it shows the cart after he had already unloaded all the items, but the cart that hit me was fully loaded with heavy goods.” Time 4 pm between 4.09 pm Date 20/08

My go-to place for groceries and household items. I find almost everything there, so no complaints mostly. With inflation causing a spike in prices, common items do feel expensive at times, bit they try to manage the prices I guess. Compared to Coles and Aldi, the quality of products is better, in my experience. The whole store is very spacious, so it never feels crammed irrespective of the number of people inside. Good job!

Unprofessional and rude staff. Young students working in the evening shifts consider every customer as thieves. Bag checkings infront of all customer is ridiculous and insulting..You need to train your staff on how to behave with customers. Being with woolies for long time doesn't make them perfect staffs. Retail environment is all about customer service. Increase your security systems with your billion dollar profits. Don't utilise the chance if not having a hig Coles branch nearby.

Located in a very central location, this supermarket has a lot to offer. There are many self-checkout counters here. I enjoyed the ambience and the service I received.

Loving the shopping experience here, their freshies & meat, as well as the great variety of Asian groceries available here. Most importantly, this Woolies is centrally located in Melbourne CBD & near where I live.

Idiotic staff harassing regular customers by unnecessary bag checks. What are all your million dollar security systems for Do better . Security guard was surely pissed on finding I paid for all items I had with me and even had receipts for nor did he wanted to go through my bag when I gave him the whole thang. Why stop me and harass me when you not even gonna go through it.Woolthieves be hiring anyone these days.
