We get calls almost daily from pushy, smarmy outfits trying to get us to improve our page listings, optimize our website, etc. But why mess with success. Roger provides outstanding service that gets results. He is never pushy, always listens, and is a master at really hearing what you need and then coming up with creative solutions. My experience with Roger Smith/RAS Design has been wonderful. From our first phone conversation I knew immediately that he really understood what I was after, and he helped me design a website that was even better than I imagined. His rates are reasonable, and by teaching me how to manage my own content I was able to stay within my budget with room to spare. As a writer/artist/musician, keeping a tight budget while allowing for creative expression is essential. Roger understands this and knows exactly how to maintain that balance. He is prompt, professional and knowledgeable. For someone who needed training on all aspects of website design, he was a perfect fit - patient, willing to explain, always friendly and helpful. Because I don't live in the area, all our communications were done via e-mail and telephone. I never once felt that my project was put on the back-burner because I wasn't physically in his location. I receive very good feedback on my new website, and I thank Roger for helping me to make that happen.

I'm in total agreement with all the other 5-star reviews! I had been in the process of trying to update my 10-year-old website for many months, and after having mediocre results at best with a couple other designers who took forever and never quite finished the job, I met Roger through blind luck. He finished my half-done site quickly and efficiently for a reasonable price. I now get compliments from my clients about how professional, easy-to-navigate and just plain attractive my new site is. Roger was easy to work with, talented, knowledgeable, creative, and super responsive. Whenever I have a question he gets back to me quickly with an answer and either fixes it for me or tells me how to do it, since one of my goals was to be able to manage my own content.
