A couple of years ago I applied and worked one job with this staff agency. I was told that if my assignment was not a good fit that I could go in and they can assign me to another job. The first job with them was a meat factory, I worked in freezing temperatures and got sick overnight. I went into the agency the next day after not being able to get a hold of anyone through the phone and I asked if I could get assigned another job because I didn’t feel well at all and the entire time I worked I had a runny nose and kept having to wipe my nose. It wasn’t a good fit for me and it was unsanitary to have someone with a runny nose touching meat. Well apparently what I was told was a lie when I went in the front desk said they were going to contact the job and that I would be getting a call from them to get a new assignment. They never did! When I would go to the office they always said “ There is nothing available.”
Two years later after leaving a job I had for a years and a half I tried going back to a Wear-house job and had the same problem “there was nothing available “ I tried to re-apply again with them but I was told I wasn’t able to. I don’t believe I have a bad record. I have worked for other agencies that are linked to this one and had no issues it is just this one. It is unfortunate and I’ve heard others also have a similar issue.

Can't get a job with these people to save my life! I've been registered with them for about a month now and keep trying to call them. Supposedly, not even one job coming through, really?! Very hard to believe. Give me a job PLEASE!!! I want to work!!!
I say that we do a class action lawsuit and sue them for everyday of work that they did not find for us, since being registered through their company. That would definitely be some good back pay and help to survive.

Pretty simple and straightforward process, I was able to apply online and then come in and do orientation questions during my interview. Pretty easy going process as opposed to other places I've applied. The office is upstairs and also handles Logistix's employment agency. Conveniently located next to the Workforce temp agency but the parking and way into the parking lot are a little confusing. I entered from the gas station side and exited out the backstreet.

Got a temp job from them and not long after it ended they got me another job, even ran into a few workers from my last job too.

ZERO problems with the Moreno Valley office, got to work the next day. I had also applied at the SB office too between jobs but no result.

I went to this branch after reading reviews. Sure some were negative, but lately the reviews were positive, so figured something must have changed....and for the better.

This agency is very quick to dismiss you from assignments after telling you they wouldn’t. I had to leave work on one occasion because a family member passed and the next work day I went to the funeral and I was told “it’s okay please don’t worry about it and sorry for your loss” then I get a message saying my assignment was over. On top of that I asked for temp to hire and was told I was going in temp to hire only to hear people at that work place have been working as temp for years with empty promises of promotions and hiring. I purposely accepted an assignment and didn’t show up because they wasted my time and I was more then happy to waste theirs. Know your worth and find an agency that’s actually giving decent work and not just “work” you’re life is worth more then working and if you need a day or two you shouldn’t have to beg for your own time, just take it, they need you and you dont need them. There are dozens of agency’s and work places who are in desperate need of employees, find the better opportunity and take it

I have been reading some of the reviews about this agency, that are negative, and I must agree I feel the same way, however I will still give them a two, although I was very disappointed with this place.I had found a job online, that went through to select staffing, last week but was told I had to come for in interview, and I had to had to change the appt last week as I did not have two hours open that day.However, I arrived on time for my appointment.

After waiting for awhile.. I was told I would get some paperwork. So I went to use the restroom ( and let them know that )since this place had no restroom facilities. I came right back and after about half hour I was given two forms, one was a safety test, and another form, as I filled out everything online which took almost a couple hours of my time. There were many people there that day, and only one job developer that was seated in the back behind a partition. However, those that waited in the lobby could hear what was going with that client. The whole interview (If you could you call it that was three minutes), that included checking my ID, and looking at the computer with questions about my availability.

This job developer said that she had nothing for me and would get in touch with me when they had something, since select staffing has new listings every day, and one possibility that she told me about had already been given away earlier in the day. (She gave me no business card to follow up. There is one at the front desk. Of course I was the last person called ,but almost everybody that she saw that morning, had either a job offer or had an interview.

Additionally, this job developer was taking calls over the phone from other clients calling in and gave them jobs and shift choices, while we were all waiting. So I got nothing. I need a job, and I have been looking for almost a month now. I am asking very little in salary or hours. I told her I would take just about anything. I could of stayed home and continued to look online. . I understand some of those jobs may have not been for me. But there had to be something there. I believe I was singled out due to my age, and my race, and did it did not feel like she cared, she was doing a job. I got the impression from the staff over the phone, before I kept my appointment with Select that it was important to come there so I did not miss opportunities, after she gave everything a way. do not know if I . I do believe that this place only picks and chooses whom they want to help..

Select staffing in Corona and a non-comprehending staff member named Carlota allows a company to say at my interview that their going to hire me and then right after I leave they call Carlota at select staffing to say we don't want that person to work here and then when I brought it up to her she just thinks it's cool for a company to do that to a person and she never even calls me to discuss the matter and she also needs to go back to school and try to graduate to learn especially how to use a computer since she didn't know how to operate it when I took an assessment test , I had to fix the problem myself and I'm not even any kind of office worker, it's called having common sense though. This agency is a nightmare when it comes to finding intelligent life at the Corona office or any select staffing from what I've read and heard.

I had read all the negative feedback for Select Staffing and still decided to give them a shot. I found many postings from them on Indeed for office administrative jobs where they offered $15+ hr. I submitted my resume and they bombarded me with calls and messages. I agreed to an interview, which was a huge waste of time! Staff feels superior to everyone else which I find very disrespectful. They then informed me that they hardly ever came across office positions and that they only had warehouse jobs. They post fake job offers to lure clients in there offices. They should be up front when you ask them over the phone and not waste peoples time!
