Good price for sake tasting. The tasting room is bright & spacious. The sake are very good. We were given each complimentary Traditional sake with was so good! We ordered a flight of 1oz x3 sake of our choice: Nama Junmai, Plum Gekkeikan, and Zipang Sparkling.
- Traditional Junmai: has a strong fermented rice aroma. It had subtle fruity flavor and refreshing
- Nama Junmai: the fermented rice aroma was somewhat not as strong as the traditional but it had more prominent fruity flavor.
- Plum Gekkeikan: sweet sake with prominent plum flavor and fermented rice aroma. The sweetness is similar to ice wine but it was less thick in consistency. It will be perfect to pair it with dessert.
- Zipang Sparkling: easiest sake to drink! It had minimal fizz but had prominent peach note and very refreshing

Had a lovely mother daughter date here! Excellent sakes to taste at an incredibly reasonable price. The tasting room has a nice atmosphere with a pretty view of the garden as well as an attentive and knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend!

We've been here a few times, to visit the tasting room, and go through the self-guided plant tour. Staff is knowledgeable and cordial.
This week we went to a beginning Sushi making class. Price for the class was extremely reasonable, compared to other "cooking" classes.
During the class you get to taste four different Sakes, and one plum wine.
We made two kinds of Sushi. A California roll, and a hand roll with rice, seaweed, crab, cucumber and avocado.
A master sushi maker from Samurai Sushi taught the class. Class only lasts 2 hours. One downside - we had to rush to make our rolls with so many in attendance. IMO the classes should be smaller, or maybe last another 1/2 hour.
Not enough space to share all the goodies you get to take home, not to mention your sushi! LOL
We had so much fun! I can't wait for the advanced class!

Wonderful friendly staff were very accommodating even when we showed up a day they were cleaning and doing some routine maintenance. We bought some experimental sake some other varieties sold at the brewery on site. Wonderful place to go when you're in the area!

Will not offer tours anymore, but will resume tasting in July. Currently, you can go in and order wines for pick up

They no longer offer tours but still offer tastings. I recommend arriving early! It is a very Japanese tasting experience.

You write down the corresponding number or flight name on a dry erase card for the sakes you would like to try and they will bring out either a 1oz or 2oz glass depending on what you select. Prices are very reasonable.

There are some really unique offerings here that you can't find anywhere else!

The staff are happy to answer questions and are very polite. They will leave you to your tasting and check in periodically.

Be sure to check out the garden afterwards. I wish they offered guided tours still, but understand why they would not. I hope to be back in spring to visit again!

What a GREAT experience! The diversity of sake was unknown to me prior to this visit. The staff are so very supportive and pleasant. Definitely will re-visit.
