I am one who always takes a good 48 hours to adjust to a new haircut, but I just left and I am pleased as punch! And I cut off close to a foot of hair! Amelia has a great intuition and really listens to all those confusing things we say when we're trying to hone in on what we want our hair to look like. She states herself that her professional goal is to work with the hair her clients have and not push impossible goals (like my limp fine hair being bouncy, thick, and curly) - and more to the point, she's done a really good job and finding the body and sculpting it. Highly recommended, especially for low maintenance gals like myself.

I’ve been having my hair done at more than just hair for about 35 years. I’ve had many different stylists. I am really liking my current one, Michael, who has found the perfect style and color for me. The salon is very professional and I always come away loving what I’ve had done. Recommend them very highly.

Came in to cover my red hair with a brown. I was lucky enough to get a next day appointment. I told Michael I wanted anything but black hair. I said it the whole time. I sat there for probably 3 hours to get critiqued on my haircut which I got previously from a local shop and still end up with blotchy block hair. I feel like he wasn’t listening. I wasted $200 on something I could’ve done better at home for $40. Now I have to spend even more money to get it fixed..

I am new to Sutter Creek and was looking for a local salon. I called and got an apt with Amber. I am very happy with my new hair color and Amber is is a great young girl. Only good things from this salon. I will go back for my touch up or who knows. A new color ! Thank you more then hair .
