Our installation in Rancho Santa Margarita is extremely disappointing. LA Solar is doing a poor job pulling permits, and coordinating with the power company- unlocking our meter ring and shutdown at the street to install a new panel. Of course they are quick to invoice for the full amount. Our job includes a panel upgrade. When all is done, the job will have taken over 7 months! We are at risk for the next round of Net Metering increases too.

We chose LA Solar Group based on a friend who went with them because they needed a roof. We hoped to also have a good experience, but didn’t.

When you work with them, you don’t get an assigned point of contact. The sales associate bounces as soon as a contract is signed. You get a generic email address which to send questions.

Lacking confidence my job will be completed satisfactory.

I got my system installed 6 months ago and I love it. It is producing much more electricity than they estimated. One of the micro-inverters wasn't working right and then sent someone over within a week or so and replaced it for free. I shopped my solar system pretty hard (I probably got around 20 quotes) and LA Solar had the best deal (and the best equipment) for I was looking for. My contact at the company was Randely Valdez, and she was very responsive and helpful. Pro-tip: If you pay cash for your system you'll get the best deal by far (like 50% off), so if can afford it, definitely pay in cash.

Installed my system in 2015 with LA Solar and it has been going strong ever since. I went from paying $270 per month in electricity to basically zero. The experience with LA Solar was great from the beginning. Initially got a quote from Solar City (today Tesla Solar) which I thought was high. After a quick search on Yelp, I came across LA Solar, a company far exceeding Solar City in ratings. I contacted them and got a quote 25% lower for the exact same capacity system! LA Solar had it installed and up and running in no time. Following the install, the few times I had issues in these 5 years, LA Solar was very responsive and corrected the problem quickly. Really good company to work with, highly recommended.

I wish I can give more than five stars; LA Solar provided an excellent service to design and install the system on our roof. We did a lot of research before contacting several potential vendors and asked many questions. LA Solar was the most helpful, knowledgeable and cost competitive during the design/sales phase led by Mr. Lemkin.
It was followed by the installation work done by a team of crews who were courteous and efficient. It’s great to know that we have such a reliable team to support our system in case we need some help/upgrade down the road. They have met all of our expectation and went beyond. I highly recommend LA Solar group.

We found this company last year based on their review on Yelp. For our solar system, we did shop around with 20 companies at the same time and finally, we chose LA SOLAR GROUP to install our solar system. We worked back and forth to write a contract that meets all my requirement and we got mutual agreement.
They upgrade my main panel, upgrade my sub-panel with 200 amps breaker, an install charging station for my electric car with dedicated over the headline and separate meter for that. Also, they install my solar system. The employee was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. They were very clean during and after work. They care about my property during and after work. Any whole they made it for their work, the painted the same as the original. Quality of their work was very good.
After a year, we decided to move some of my panels to make a space to install a solar water heater. I called them and asked them for help ASAP. They responded very quick and moved those solar panels for me FREE OF CHARGE. This company care about their customer and I highly recommended. Mr.Ara, the CEO of the company personally listen to the customer and always have a solution for your needs. We referred them to more than 10 of our friends and our friends were very happy with them.

I highly recommend LA Solar for residential solar. They were referred to me in January when we decided to install solar on our Carmel, CA home. Our system is now live less than four months later on schedule. The entire process was informative and completely seamless. I found my rep (Jim) to be objective with his advice and very professional. My first experience with LA Solar was in 2013, when they installed a 58 solar panel system and a 9 panel Solar Thermal system for the Pool.
