My daughter has been going here for a month. She has really good teachers. Administration and staff needs training with how to speak to parents. It's not the culture of the neighborhood that makes this school 2 stars it's the staff inability to handle the parents. There is no real parking for parents and they don't care. I lost my 2 year old sons shoe one morning and tried to back track to find it and staff gave me the hardest time. Because they would not let me back in the way I exited. Mind you I have to be to work at 8:00am. School doesn't open till 7:30. They have about 50 kids standing outside and won't let them in. This school wants parent support but fails to at least support the parents so in conjunction we can better serve the children.

This school is absolutely WONDERFUL! Dr. Jack is a great leader. Ms. Pendergrass, Ms. Ford, Ms. Boyer, Ms. Hall, Ms. Pitts. I can't think of their names but the girls BB & SB coach's THANK YOU for your hardwork you are GREATLY appreciated! My daughter misses this school since we relocated to FL no ther school compares!! You are all one of a kind. Tatyana's mom 😃

Dr. Jack and her faculty and staff has been a much needed team for parents to collaborate with for the betterment of our children in more ways than one. This school has a robotics team for budding engineers, a garden club to promote agriculture and entrepreneurship, our children are even offered the chance to audition for a play that is performed at the end of each school year. This school has it all, and with the 6 Hollis Habits (collaboration, creativity, communication, perseverance, self discipline, empathy) our children are taught to demonstrate everyday, the Westside is most definitely on The Rise!

I remember when i went to this
school their was good teachers ,there was good staff and administration and i just loved this school .All of my cousin's has been to this school and its just great and Dr.Jack was the best principal ever you guys keep moving forward.I wish i can come back

I've visited this school many times already, just by looking at it, it's just bad. The water is nasty, little bugs are crawling around the school ! The school is dying, must be fixed ! The teachers and staff seem to be good but other than that the school by it self must be thrown away.

This school does not go by what it says. Bullying yes respect nope . Teachers act like little kids talking abt students. Don’t let you’re child go here they don’t take good care nor teach properly to care enough for their job. Don’t believe me I was an student there it was horrible PLZ don’t go here

My daughter started out at Bethune Elementary From there to Hollis when I say this school is the best they work with the parents on just about anything.... and the Teachers really care about the kids education They have so many other programs like Chirs 180 man they even have a Health clinic On site really!😊 the principal is not only Beautiful She works very hard to Insure That everyone and everything is handle accordingly only problem I had was with Bullying and they stepping asap handle the situation And we enrolled my child into Counseling this school have really Beating all odds I am Really fighting to move because I don’t want to leave my children school because of the wonderful hollis crew thank y’all so much to help insure a A positive future And a great education I’m a Proud Hollis mother of 3 soon to be 4 attending..... Team Hollis all the way (we are crew not passenger)

The school over all is amazing it’s sad that the clinic doesn’t compare to the school they need to evaluate the ppl they have working there the lady who works there was fired from her last job because of her bad attitude probably I know I recognized her but she had a bad attitude at the other dr office she worked At eyes bulging probably drugs
