Has always been 5 star, but in last 2 weeks something has changed. 1.looking for a product 3 different employees pointed and directed me to 3 different aisles. Product wasn't there. I found it in a different 4th aisle on my own just shopping. 2.Sushi I bought yesterday had no soy packet, salmon was full of bones, tuna had bloody spots all over underside of it, they knew it was bad and hid it. 3. Last 2 times I bought cut watermelon it was most rind. Any one knows why quality here has recently collapsed

I love shopping at Publix stuff is pretty easy to find, majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful. However there are many things this location can improve on. Biggest thing is recharge your electric carts. My mother can't walk through the store and it seems every single week I have to go and find another cart to bring her, and then unload her items to that cart. Sometimes we've transferred to 3 different carts in one trip. At times the produce is horrible rotten fruit, hard as rocks. I love mandarins but have trouble finding good ones either dry or so soft and mushy. The baggers don't know how to bag stuff right or don't care, but even at times when the managers have helped bag, because there's only one checkout lane open they do horribly. You don't put canned goods or orange juice in with eggs or bread. You don't deli meat in with raw hamburger, that's not hard to figure out.

Friendly & helpful staff (even if it's not their department) If they can't help, they find someone who can. They don't leave you hanging or ignore you. They have the best customer service ? ?. I'm more than willing to pay slightly higher prices for GREAT customer service any day. Keep up the AWESOME WORK!!

I worked at Publix 1394 1700 34th street north in St. Petersburg. I was fired for taking FLMA. I’ve been having problems with my foot for a while. The pain was getting so bad I took a leave of Absence. And was fired 3 weeks after returning to work. Under false Allegations. Because I was trying to get my wife help for her drinking problem. Publix fired Me for domestic battery. I was never charged with the Domestic battery. These were false allocations that PUBLIX was trying to use. Check my record I have no Domestic battery. The whole thing was a big misunderstanding. In PUBLIX wanted to use it to get the rhythm because I took leave of absence. This was a wrongful termination. I have proved myself. These managers at 1394 Needs to be fired Andrew was his store manager. Andrew knew I was going to be taking more time off for a surgery on my foot. Becca was the assistant manager . She asked me to write a statement on what happened and I told Becca I couldn’t make any statements at the time Because I had Attorney. But Becca also went to my wife who worked in the store. And told my wife, Colleen that I told her she was a crazy drunk. I did not tell Becca she was a crazy drunk. I told Becca, my wife had a drinking problem and then I was trying to get her help. Theresa The deli manager at 1394 went around showing everybody my wife’s arrest record because my wife was arrested on a DUI because she was drinking and driving. Just like I said, my wife has a drinking problem. I had tried to make a complaint to Kelly in HR about Andrew and the way he was treating me for taking a leave of absence. Kelly Miller said she would come into store and talk to me. I never met Kelly Miller. She did not come into the store to talk to me.. She ignored my complaint. I’ve sent several emails to PUBLIX corporation complaining about my rental termination and discrimination. And public ones to just ignore me PUBLIX doesn’t wanna take care of the problem. Because PUBLIX knows they were in the wrong. And now PUBLIX wants to try to cover their tracks. So until PUBLIX decides they one of re-look at this case. Because I should be rehired back. I have been sitting emails to everyone. PUBLIX handled this situation and won’t hold his management accountable. They just want to protect them. If I was fired for a good reason, I would not be emailing or making complaints about PUBLIX. Week after week. I was terminated December 12, 2023. And since I was terminated, I have been emailing PUBLIX corporation. It is now September 2024.. Does PUBLIX really think I’m just gonna go away? PUBLIX has an assistant meet manager that worked in the same store as me who was charged with a domestic battery while working for PUBLIX. PUBLIX promoted him major manager. So what is the difference between my case and his case. I don’t have a domestic battery on my record. David Alexoff Does still have a domestic battery on his record. Look it up. The only difference is I was on FLMA For my foot that was also documented through PUBLIX. I was approved for FLMA. That is the reason why PUBLIX fired me for an illegal reason. I challenge PUBLIX to prove me wrong. so make sure you get this to PUBLIX operation. I was fired on false allegations and because I was on FLMA, and as you can see in the pictures, I was trying to get my wife help because she had a drinking problem. my wife never got fired. She resign because Andrew and Becca were bullying and harassing her. Check all my emails are complaining about how I was fired for being on FLMA and my wife having a drinking problem. It’s all documented through PUBLIX.. PUBLIX just to ignore the situation. And protect the management that lied about my allegations. my wife even told Andrew, Becca and Mike from HR. That I did not hit her. My wife also testified under oath to the judge did I did not hit her. This is why my domestic battery was dropped. Because this had to do with my wife’s drinking problem. PUBLIX wanted to use the domestic battery because I was on FLMA it would have been illegal to fire me for that reason.

You can't go wrong with Publix. High quality products; clean store; friendly staff, what more is there? Oh, savings. You won't get bare bones saving at Publix because their level of customer service costs money, but there are always weekly BOGOs and items on sale if you shop carefully, there are plenty of ways to save.

For the life of me, I will never understand why they have spoiled produce out for sale. Especially for how much they are charging people for it. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I have to pick through the fruit to make sure it isn’t already rotten or about to go bad.

I love ❤️ the fresh made sushi, but the deli fresh subs made to order are the best. The staff is always friendly and will help you find anything. If they don't have it, they can order it for you..
