Publix Super Market at Southgate Shopping Center

Has always been 5 star, but in last 2 weeks something has changed. 1.looking for a product 3 different employees pointed and directed me to 3 different aisles. Product wasn't there. I found it in a different 4th aisle on my own just shopping. 2.Sushi I bought yesterday had no soy packet, salmon was full of bones, tuna had bloody spots all over underside of it, they knew it was bad and hid it. 3. Last 2 times I bought cut watermelon it was most rind. Any one knows why quality here has recently collapsed

I love shopping at Publix stuff is pretty easy to find, majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful. However there are many things this location can improve on. Biggest thing is recharge your electric carts. My mother can't walk through the store and it seems every single week I have to go and find another cart to bring her, and then unload her items to that cart. Sometimes we've transferred to 3 different carts in one trip. At times the produce is horrible rotten fruit, hard as rocks. I love mandarins but have trouble finding good ones either dry or so soft and mushy. The baggers don't know how to bag stuff right or don't care, but even at times when the managers have helped bag, because there's only one checkout lane open they do horribly. You don't put canned goods or orange juice in with eggs or bread. You don't deli meat in with raw hamburger, that's not hard to figure out.

Friendly & helpful staff (even if it's not their department) If they can't help, they find someone who can. They don't leave you hanging or ignore you. They have the best customer service ? ?. I'm more than willing to pay slightly higher prices for GREAT customer service any day. Keep up the AWESOME WORK!!

You can't go wrong with Publix. High quality products; clean store; friendly staff, what more is there? Oh, savings. You won't get bare bones saving at Publix because their level of customer service costs money, but there are always weekly BOGOs and items on sale if you shop carefully, there are plenty of ways to save.

For the life of me, I will never understand why they have spoiled produce out for sale. Especially for how much they are charging people for it. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I have to pick through the fruit to make sure it isn’t already rotten or about to go bad. -posted a photo review of a bag of nectarines that spoiled and leaked everywhere within 48 hours of buying them.

I love ❤️ the fresh made sushi, but the deli fresh subs made to order are the best. The staff is always friendly and will help you find anything. If they don't have it, they can order it for you..
