Spectrum Store

Had a storm yesterday. Power and internet went out. Every thing came back on eventually except Spectrum’s modem. Called customer service they told us to go the spectrum store, which is a 70 mile round trip, to swap it out. After the drive, we arrive only for the people at spectrum to tell us they don’t have a replacement and to call customer service again because they don’t do that. Very rude employees. Worthless location, bad customer service. So now a tech has to come just for a modem swap.

Quick service and nice people. Didn't have any modems in stock. I'll have to wait for a service technician to come and get me back online. Bummer.

TERRIBLE !!! Went yesterday to exchange my equipment the customer service representative made me an appointment to go there got there and these ppl said they didnt have any equipment in the store and im like how are yall a spectrum and i was sent here for you to say yall have no equipment in the store ! Have yall not ordered any like the responsibility of a company is to make it easier on the customers, ive been without internet for 3 days waiting on a tech now. When simply could have exchanged modems and been done.

The support in the Alexander City store was awful. The person helping me was rude and had the worst attitude. I asked for a manager and was told they were out to lunch . I don't really get why businesses put these types of people working with the public. I was simply trying to return the equipment to the store. Then the company blames you for the equipment not working like I'm a technician. I simply did what customer service told me to do and the response was I don't know why they told you to come here. Why have a store open that can't take equipment is the real question. They issue it out so why can't you return it . Why mail it in?

The workers were there.... not really interested in serving you. Got what I needed and got out. The check in system seems to be broken or just not working at all

Recently tried to purchase a new iPhone 15 Pro. Our service address and billing address are 2 different items. I clearly explained my situation to her the importance of having the phone shipped to my home address (billing address). 2 days she says I’ll get my phone. On Tuesday of the following week I get a text that’s it’s being processed for ship and lo and behold to the service address. I call customer service, they said when it actually starts to ship I can call FedEx and change address. Well NO I can’t because I didn’t ship it. Back to Spectrum it’s due to arrive and can’t get a straight answer from ANYONE! Finally reach a representative that just cancels the entire purchase and sends it back. I am BEYOND disappointed….

I am a new Spectrum customer. I got all the equipment in and the installation was so easy. Then I went to the store in Alex City a couple of weeks later and was going to add cell phone service. The lady got all my information but then said that I was not approved for the phone I wanted!! She said I may need to wait several months since I am a new customer..Well, 3 days later I went online and filled out all the information for the new cellphone I wanted and was immediately approved!! Do they have different systems than online Because this was really not good at all. Stores and online need to be on the same page!! This isn't good customer service.
