Consistently Disappointing I've given this bakery multiple chances, visiting around four times on Sunday afternoons, but I've been left disappointed each time. The almond croissant lacks the crispy, flaky layers you'd expect, with a bland filling that tastes more like a day-old pastry than something fresh and satisfying. As for the white loaf, the crust was overly chewy, as if it was already a day or two old. The crumb inside was dense and resembled a processed loaf more than a proper sourdough. Honestly, I've had better from Coles bakery.

Such a good bakery if you just want to go grab your local loaf and go. Not for sitting and hanging out. I tried the spelt scone and it was exactly the texture a scone should be. It was a bit buttery tasting like a scone should be. And it was perfectly sweet (not overly) with fresh fruit like a scone should be. I recommend this location of the chain, not certain about the quality of the rest.

Croissant just okay, but their chocolate babka was bomb! ? ?

Always the freshest bakery treats and breads! The white cob is always a fav and reminds me of my nonnas pasta dura loaf I had as a kid that would always be in the bread box for a couple days on the dinner table and you would still have it even if it wasn't fresh because it was just the best... but you needed new teeth after it lol and they'll slice it for you. ?

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Situated near South Melbourne market this is my new favourite bakery be it a little far from home but will be worth the journey! The bread is to die for - crunchy on the outside and so fresh on the inside! Scrumptious with real butter! The pastries are out of this world especially the almond croissant! You just have to try it. Combine this with excellent customer service and it leaves you wanting to return! It's a good thing I bought multiple almond croissants - mmm, I hear one calling my name now!

Catering for Low GI and sweet-tooths with their rustic style bread and treats. They have homemade dips and relishes too. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Great artisan bread for any occasion. Recommendations: Scones Danishes Spelt Bread loaf Sourdough loaf Breadstick *Easter - hot cross buns They are COVID-19 safe with only 2 people allowed in the shop at one time. They have screens up at the counter, hand sanitiser and credit card payments only. Paper bags are available for 50c. This area, including the market, is plastic bag free and encourage the public to bring their own bags to save the environment. Give them a try!
