I attended two demonstrations today at the Miele Experience Centre in South Melbourne. The demonstrations were on the induction cooktop and the oven. Both the presenters Kerry and Eli did an excellent job demonstrating the features of the appliances and answering all my queries. I left feeling well informed of the capabilities of both products and I am so happy to have attended the demonstrations.

I went to South Melb Miele to check out their washer and dryer range last week on a public holiday. Some staff members were friendlier than others but unfortunately I couldn’t choose who I wanted to be served with as they were all so busy that I even had to wait a bit for service. Once a staff member became available, I was seated and there was coffee and cookie while they were explaining their products. Their washer/dryer area was so warm and humid - better ventilation needed although other areas were great with a beautiful layout. There was also a small retail section within the store where you could buy your twindos refills etc. Ended up buying a matching pair of washer & dryer, and the products were delivered exactly when they said the products were going to be delivered. Have used the products and so far so good.

Don't use Miele's installation service if you have your washing machine on a raised platform, as they wont install. Booked installation service but on arrival delivery staff informed me that was Miele's policy, and couldn't install. It's in the fine print, but not explicitly stated when you book the installation service. If Miele wishes to provide a good service this restriction should be prominent and explicit when you booking. They send you off to another company or you just do yourself. Not the delivery people's fault, who were polite and efficient.

I bought a Miele Complete C3 cat & dog bagged vacuum cleaner in March 2023. took it in to the Good Guys Store in Geelong as I was having issues with suction. the sales guy told me I needed a new filter so I bought 1 but when I took it home it still didn't work. so I took it back & they said it was 1 month outside the 12 month automatic replacement warranty & would need to be sent away for repair. they advised it could take up to 5 weeks. 5 weeks later I called & was advised parts had been ordered & once fitted it would be returned. I was told they would call me back with an update. I have heard nothing. it has now been over 9 weeks & I have tried calling the store twice today either being disconnected after it rang for 5mins & after being put on hold without a word & then disconnected. this it ridiculous!

We are long term Miele customers and have visited the South Melbourne Experience Centre on previous occasions. Thomas Paul was very informative about induction cooking tops. He catered for our needs.

I had a lovely experience just popping past over the long weekend. I randomly had a plastic cover that had gone missing from my dishwasher and just thought I’d try my luck.

A lovely man helped me out, found exactly the right part in a second, and I walked out smiling. Thanks a lot! Definitely pays to be a parts hoarder.

Thomas was so helpful when I called in looking for a drainage extension hose he went above and beyond what I expected and solved my problem. I have always had excellent customer service from Miele which is why I’m a repeat customer- thank you.
