Beautifully presented food
Good portion sizes
The Katsu was fried to perfection and I love the little seasoning of salt that they had on it the cabbage on the side was also seasoned with a little dressing, which was so good. And I love the steam pumpkin that they had with this creamy dressing on top that was really delicious.

The chestnut dish was also really, really good. My friend had that one and she said it was really tasty and she loved the nuttiness the subtle creaminess to it. It was really nice

Moon mart is quite quaint quite cozy. It’s definitely not a café for bigger groups.

Came for a visit last Monday July 29. Tonkatsu Pork was super juicy, thick and tender. Side sauces and the spice powder dip are amazing!! it goes really well and complement the pork. if you want something sweet…spicy or smokey bbq!

Service was fun, friendly and accommodating. Thank you for making our birthday lunch extra special! ❤️

The food was great. We ordered a katsu, udon with fried chicken, and a strawberry matcha latte. We were enjoying the meal until the main server, who I assumed was the manager, made a comment to my partner about how he was using his chopsticks just because he had stuck one into the pork while eating. As she walked past, she remarked that he was using his chopsticks the same way her little brother would. While I understand she may have been trying to make a joke, I don’t think it was an appropriate joke to make to a customer. Everyone has their own way of doing things. I had been looking forward to returning to this restaurant after they moved to South Melbourne, but today we just felt disappointed by the comment.

I visited Moon Mart based on a friend's recommendation. I tried the tonkatsu and braised spicy pork, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff was also very friendly, so I definitely plan to visit again.

I find it hard to skip the Tonkatsu here, easily the best in Melbourne. Crispy outside soft pork inside, simply perfect. Service here is always delightful, it’s a small space so sometimes you might need to wait but it’s well worth it.

What a cute and bright little cafe! We visited on a Monday, so parking was easy to find and there was a table available as soon as we entered. The hoedoepbap was very fresh and filling and the char sui was soooo juicy and soft. The prices are definitely not for the faint-hearted but we enjoyed all our dishes and had a great time.
