I rarely say this, especially while I’m still at the restaurant, but I will definitely be coming back — and I want to show this place to all my friends. It’s truly a fantastic spot! I loved every dish we tried. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, the ambiance was wonderful, and even the background sounds added to the charm.

There’s just one thing that needs improvement: the toilets are overloaded and have a strong smell.

Public Records has a quirky layout that can be a bit confusing at first. For a recent music event, guests had to enter from a different entrance, check in at the back, and then head to the main venue at the front, with a small lounge upstairs. It felt like a bit of a maze! However, the place is cozy and beautifully decorated, with plenty of natural light. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy some leisure time with friends, despite the unusual setup.

enjoyed their cocktails and the dessert a lot for my birthday. the hostess was very sweet and the atmosphere was adorb - both in the dining room and in the garden with string lights on. can recommend tom in the afternoon (a light and smooth sour) and the tahini hibiscus cheesecake (the kind of saltiness in a cheesecake was a very unique flavor profile). the food was not bad but also did not stand out too much. they did do a good job with the mushroom skewers - they tasted really like meat.

This establishment is not merely a place to drink coffee; it is a cultivated retreat where every detail, from the music to the menu, speaks to a higher appreciation of life's finer things.

Shota Fujii

This spot in Brooklyn is a hub for culture. They are mindful of the planet (without making a big deal about it, which is very cool), and the staff is equally cool. The space itself is stylish, and I was so impressed by its sophisticated vibe that I ended up buying some records and apparel.

In the evening, it turns into a reservation-only restaurant, and they frequently host music events. I would love to create a place like this!

I haven’t been back here recently, but I went about a year ago and public records is what I envision a club/restaurant in New York to be like. Forward thinking, eco-conscious, and with excellent curation. I thought it was a tad on the expensive side but what isn’t these days? I would love to try their cafe and hang out during the day sometime. Everyone should make some time, day or night, to come here.

Great place, great vibe, great drinks. Serves food and family friendly. Place for concerts in the back and a lounge upstairs while the main floor and private terrace are excellent for coffee, brunch, read books in a modern-nature mix with plants and natural light.

It was a cool space for the event I was attending. In a kind of weird area that made me feel a little weird walking to and from at night but overall a really nice, clean, and operational space. Would go again for the right event.
